Nancy Mercier is a 17 years, C5/6 (spinal cord injury) Able-Quadriplegic and is the Board Secretary, Co-Owner, Human Resources/Administration/Accounting Manager; Safety Coordinator, as well as, the Barrier Free Living Program Consultant of Arcadia Construction Ltd. – ACL (www.arcadia-construction.ca).
In addition, Nancy is the Board President, Founder and Spiritual Director of Arcadia Angelic Sanctuary Interfaith Ministry - AASIM (www.arcadia-angelic-sanctuary.com). She is also, a motivational and inspirational speaker; an Interfaith Lay Minister, Certified Spiritual Arts Practitioner (Spiritual Guide/Counselling, Vibrational/Energy Medicine Healing) and Licensed Naturotherapists or n.d. with A.N.N. - the Association for Naturotherapists and Naturopaths (www.anncanada.ca). A.N.N. members are recognized across Canada and covered by most extended health-care plans.
Furthermore, Nancy is pursuing an Interfaith Ministerial Bachelor’s Degree leading to a Holistic Theology Doctorate to become an Ordained Interfaith Minister through the Seminary of the American Institute of Holistic Theology - AIHT (www.aiht.edu).
Also, Nancy volunteers and participates at many community organizations/events, including volunteering as a workshop "Leader/Facilitator" with the New-Brunswick Ministry of Health for the "My Choice - My Health" chronic disease self-management program (www.gnb.ca/0053/phc/workshop-e.asp); at the local Hospital's Palliative Care Unit as a Pastoral Caregiver or Compassionate Companion, assisting in spiritually passing-over.
Lastly, Nancy lives and manages Arcadia Angelic Sanctuary Interfaith Ministry and Arcadia Construction Ltd. with her husband of 20 years, Michel Francoeur, and their Jack Russell dogs, Jackie, Russ and Cookie; in her native "French-Acadian" (Cajun) New-Brunswick in the area of world famous "Parlee Beach" of Shediac.
