BarrierFreeLiving.ca is a one-of-a-kind socially interactive website for professionals. We have a unique niche and audience that few other social networks specifically target. For those reasons, we maintain the quality & usefulness of the information provided to our visitors and social networks by exercising fairly strict editorial guidelines.

We are looking to promote knowledgeable contributors who are passionate about serving seniors and their families. We look forward to creating new collaborative projects and are open to promoting regular occurring and single pieces by you, the expert!

Submit original articles – We want to promote you!

Expertise: Yes, you know what you’re talking about and must be willing to share your experience.

Style: Short pieces, 300-500 words (bullet lists and sub-headings are a good idea to break up the content). We may consider breaking up longer pieces and adding visual images.

Knowledge: How-to, resource, comparison, anecdotal or informative articles related to aging in place.

Focus: Our content is focused: business and people (predominantly small businesses) that provide goods or services to seniors and their families - submissions must provide value to these audiences.

Our editorial staff is responsible for selecting articles to be published. Your article must be complete before submitting it, including credit for all sources & assets.

Any articles you submit must be your work. We would prefer to be the first to publish it, but if it has been published elsewhere, let us know where/when. In some cases we may publish articles that appear elsewhere. Your article may be edited prior to publishing.
